Why importers choose Model 100
Numbers matter, but this is what they mean for your business.
- One factory, one standard — we press, grade and load ourselves, so every container is pressed and graded to the same specification
- Kitchens complain less — no chemical accelerants and no added binder, so no chemical smell in the dining room
- Cost you can plan — indicative pricing is public, and CIF is quoted for your port before you commit
- Proof before payment — free sample, lot-specific COA, and independent testing available on request

How the price works
Model 100 is published at USD 359–500 per tonne, EXW Bangkok. The range is packaging, not charcoal — the same briquette in a cheaper or a printed box. The price is public, so you do not have to ask for it.
- 18 kg bulk sack — from USD 359 / tonne. Unbranded, for importers who repack at destination. The lowest cost per kilo we publish.
- 10 kg printed export carton — USD 500 / tonne. Retail-ready, the standard export pack.
- OEM printed carton. Your own brand, 1-colour print, plate cost by agreement. Quoted on request.
EXW Bangkok, Bang Bon warehouse, valid 30 days. FOB / CFR / CIF quoted on request for your destination port. The final price is confirmed in the Proforma Invoice.

- OEM printed carton — your brand, your design, from MOQ one container
What fits in a container
Loading weight depends on packing configuration, so we confirm the exact tonnage on your Proforma Invoice. Mixed loading is normal — you can combine briquette models and longan firewood in one container.
- 40FT — 24 MT in 10 kg export cartons, 2,400 cartons. Best cost per tonne for repeat orders.
- 20FT — 15 MT in 10 kg export cartons, 1,500 cartons — exactly the 15 t minimum for one model. The right size for a first order.
- Mixed loads accepted — combine models and firewood in one booking
Export documentation — handled in-house, no broker in between
Charcoal is dangerous goods — UN 1361, Class 4.2, IMDG. Many shipping lines refuse a booking when the paperwork is wrong. We prepare the whole set ourselves.
- Quality: lot-specific COA · MSDS / SDS · independent lab testing available on request
- Shipping: DG declaration UN 1361 · Packing List / Invoice · Bill of Lading
- Duty: Certificate of Origin · ASEAN Form D · other Thai FTA forms
The financial reason to buy from Thailand. ASEAN buyers may qualify for preferential duty under Form D, subject to the applicable rules of origin. For other destinations, tell us your country and HS code and we can help you check the applicable import tariff.
How to order — from inquiry to first container
Four steps. Most buyers go from first message to a confirmed order within two weeks.
- 1 · Tell us your port and volume — we reply with an FOB / CIF quote within one business day
- 2 · Test a free sample — you pay only the courier
- 3 · Confirm spec and packaging — Proforma Invoice, payment T/T 60/40
- 4 · Production and loading in 15–21 days — loading photos before the ship leaves
What importers ask before the first container
Can I order less than a full container?
The minimum is 15 tonnes per model, and one 20FT carries exactly that — 1,500 cartons of 10 kg. A 40FT carries 24 MT. These are planning figures from our own loadings; actual payload depends on the destination port’s policy, the sailing requirements and the carrier’s own rules, and is confirmed at booking. You can mix models and packing types inside one container, so you can trial several specifications at once.
Can I get a sample first? Is it charged?
Samples are free. You only pay the courier cost. The sample ships with the COA of that sample lot; your shipment is issued its own lot-specific COA at production, so the document you receive matches the goods you receive.
Can you print our own brand?
Yes. We already produce private label for brands in China, the Gulf and the Maldives. Minimum is one container.
Charcoal is dangerous goods — is booking difficult?
We prepare the UN 1361 Class 4.2 documentation in-house and arrange the booking. This is routine work for us, not a first time.
Which Incoterms do you quote?
EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF. Tell us your destination port and we will quote the term you prefer.
How is this different from Indonesian charcoal?
Three things — independent university testing can be arranged when required, Thai origin that may qualify for preferential duty in several markets, and a direct line to the factory rather than a trading agent.
Renewable rubberwood — where the wood comes from
Model 100 is pressed from plantation rubberwood, a renewable by-product of Thailand's rubber industry. Rubber trees in southern Thailand are tapped for latex for roughly 25 years, then felled and replanted; the trunks are a by-product of plantation renewal, not forest logging. Thailand is the world’s largest natural-rubber producer and Satun sits inside that plantation belt, so the feedstock is local, renewable and replanted on a fixed cycle.
- No FSC / PEFC on this line — and we say so. What we document instead: plantation-origin declaration, Certificate of Origin / ASEAN Form D, lot-specific COA and MSDS with every shipment. Independent PSU testing can be arranged on request.
- Production capacity 100–150 tonnes a month across all models, depending on season — four to six 40FT containers at 24 MT each. Your loading slot is confirmed in the Proforma Invoice.
- Why importers buy it — the Eco renewable-wood grade for mookata, Thai-style BBQ and volume catering: 2–3 h burn, working heat above 350°C, USD 359–500 / tonne EXW Bangkok. Range is set by packaging — 18 kg plain sack at the low end, 10 kg printed carton at the top. Same charcoal in both.
